The Primary program at Montessori School of Fort Myers provides a relaxed yet stimulating environment where children ages 3-6 years can develop and learn at their own pace, in a non-competitive atmosphere.  The result is that the child develops a love of learning, a positive self-image and a sense of self-direction, which together form a strong foundation for future growth. The Montessori curriculum at the primary level draws the child into all areas of learning through enticing lesson plans and didactic materials in several academic and everyday living skill areas.  The children in a Montessori class will experience work in the Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Math, geography and Science areas.  They will further their learning through working in the garden and participating in Spanish, Phys. Ed., Art and music which are all an integral part of our schools curriculum.
