We are proud to be the only in-school provider of the Music Together program in Lee County!  All age groups, Infant through Primary, participate in 30 minute Music Together class once per week on Wednesday mornings.

Music Together is the leading music curriculum for early-learning settings serving children ages birth through seven and is offered at thousands of locations around the world.  Children enjoy a playful learning environment that’s musically rich and immediately accessible to their—and their teacher’s—participation.

Fruit Picking at Montessori School

While not necessarily a separate enrichment class, our non-napping primary students (~4-6 years old) participate in gardening and pick fruit from our small fruit tree orchard.   We currently grow 20+ types of fruit on campus.

Library

Montessori library books

The students are brought to our school library in small groups (typically by a parent volunteer librarian) where each child chooses their own book to check out and take home.  We encourage families to come check out books whenever they'd like. We have a great variety of board books, story books as well as helpful reference books.

Montessori family art Fridays

While art supplies are always available in our classrooms, both toddler and primary age groups take part in large, messy, age-appropriate art projects at Family Art Friday which takes place typically monthly.  Parents are encouraged to participate in this event where our teachers infuse fine art education and the monthly themes into fun projects for students and their families to do together.
