Admissions

Our admissions process is thorough.  We provide ample opportunity for you to decide Montessori School of Fort Myers is the right fit for your family and likewise to ensure your child and family is the right fit for our school.  We have a 3-step process to ensure you have all the information you need to be comfortable entrusting your children’s care to our school.

  1. Recommended: Parents visit the school without their child to meet the administrators and tour the facility. Not having the child present allows the parents to have a more candid discussion of the child’s needs and gives enough time for an in-depth look into how our school operates. (30 minutes or more depending on parents interest)
  2. Required: One or both parents visit the school with their child to meet with the Head of School and a Lead Teacher from the child’s age group. Parents and child participate in a one hour observation in the classroom where their child would be placed. (In-classroom observation- 30 minutes, short discussion afterwards- 15 minutes)
  3. Required: Complete the checklist below with a member of the administration staff – all documentations, fees, and medical forms must be on file with the school office prior to the child’s first day of school. (30 minute meeting)
